Some Compatible Games!

Here's a list of games GPD Win owners have tested and played well. The game should be around 720p/30fps minimum to be eligible for this list, please specify what settings the game used, the resolution, and FPS. Updated daily:
  • Prince of Persia Sands of Time with Widescreen Patch
  • Psychonauts -- can't recommend this enough, almost feels like it was made for it
  • Towerfall: Ascension
  • Bioshock -- some control difficulties with the nubs, but still fun
  • Four Sided Fantasy
  • Axiom Verge
  • Binding of Issac Rebirth
  • Terraria
  • Rogue Legacy
  • Starbound
  • Half Life 2 -- Ran great on Medium settings. No noticeable slowdown that I could see. Gotta love the source engine!
  • Portal 1
  • Portal 2
  • Golf With Your Friends
  • Thrillville : Off the Rails is running on the HIGHEST SETTINGS at 720p 60fps, XINPUT and Mouse settings work great!
  • War Thunder
  • The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
  • The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
  • Fallout 3 (check compatibility fixes for this title)
  • Rocket League
  • Resident Evil Revelations 1 -- runs smooth
  • Resident Evil 4
  • Resident Evil 5
  • Stardew Valley
  • Fuel
  • Alice: Madness Returns
  • Street Fighter x Tekken
  • Dead Space 1
  • Thumper
  • Nuclear Throne
  • Freedom Planet
  • Tetrobot & Co.
  • KOTOR 2 (Steam, internal HD) -- runs great, 720p. I got the old 'black screen' bug after the prologue, which has nothing to do with the Win itself. Google suggested lowering the textures setting, so hopefully that'll work.
  • Ronin (Steam, default settings, internal HD) -- no problems
  • Super Meat Boy (Steam, default settins, internal HD) -- no problems
  • Titan Souls (Steam, default settings, internal HD) -- no problems
  • Spelunky (GOG, default settings, SD card) -- no problems
  • Invisible Inc (GOG, default settings, SD card) -- no problems
  • Borderlands 1
  • Borderlands 2
  • Borderlands 3
  • Factorio -- Touch screen works nice. I think most factorio games chug a little bit when zoomed out. its nice, as apparently the GUI can be scaled up!
  • South Park : The Stick Of Truth -- Runs Perfectly, Just as well as on my desktop computer. Supports 360 controller out of the box. Excellent.
  • Rayman Legends --Runs perfectly. Ideal game to play on the WIN really. Looks and plays great.
  • Black Mesa (HL1 Remake) -- Seemed to run great, despite it's notoriously bad loading times which were made worse by me running off a micro SD card.
  • Devil May Cry 5
  • GTA San Andreas - works perfectly - amazing! (Using Xpadder for gamepad support)
  • Extreme Landings (win 10 store app) - great use of touch controls and the built in gyroscope
  • Fallout New Vegas --like Fallout 3, but with controller supprt, and windows 10 compatible, 30 fps, sometimes as high as 45!
  • Divinity Original Sin: Enhanced Edition (Steam, 720p, internal HD) -- The game auto-detects lowest settings. Runs at 24fps, which is still quite playable given the nature of the game. Turning off VSync and AA didn't make any difference.
  • Gabriel Knight: 20th Anniversary -- (GOG, 720p, SD card) no problems
  • Megaman Legacy Collection (Steam)
  • SEGA Classics (Steam) -- steady 30+ FPS @ 720p
  • PAC-MAN 256 (Steam) -- steady 30+ FPS @ 720p
  • Street Fighter Ultra IV (Steam) -- steady 30+ FPS @ 720p
  • The Detail (Steam) -- steady 30+ FPS @ 720p
  • The Swapper (Steam) -- steady 30+ FPS @ 720p
  • Nidhogg -- Works at full speed
  • Divekick -- Works at full speed
  • Pinball Space Cadet -- feels like it's made for this device
  • Magic 2014 -- works out of the box. I didn't change any settings yet (except for shadows, I now realize)
  • Skifree -- had no problems
  • INSIDE -- runs totally playable at 720p (probably 30fps)
  • Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara -- runs flawless
  • Stanley Parable -- Runs perfectly at Medium settings, 720p. (60ish fps most of the time)
  • Hitman 2
  • Worms Armageddon -- plays great, 60 fps and maxed. Requires some mapping, as controller isn't supported.
  • Gothic 2
  • Jamestown -- (bullet hell shooter on Steam) works at full speed and is a perfect fit for the device.
  • Parkitect -- Currently in early access on Steam. Essentially a modern day update of Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2. Ran great, Mouse controls worked pretty well
  • La-Mulana -- (the original, never played the remake. You may encounter some odd behavior at first but those are windows 10 issues, not win issues)
  • Lethal League -- (really fun and no problems supporting 4 players)
  • Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt -- (runs fine on this system, though it's a gamemaker title so no surprise)
  • Fairy Bloom Freesia -- (no problems I can detect)
  • Valkyria Chronicles -- (Steam, 720p, SD card) - runs great!
  • Awesomenauts
  • Life is Strange -- runs well at 1280x720 considering it's an adventure game of sorts. 22-30fps, xinput controls are great.
  • One Finger Death -- Punch runs perfectly with xinput controls. Dunno if it's 60fps but it's smooth.
  • Rogue Legacy -- Runs at 30fps when you first start it, simply go to options, switch Full Screen on, switch off shadow effects and restart for a whopping 60FPS! also works great with XInput.
  • Puzzle Quest -- Garlic Bread could run this game, perfect speed constantly, the GPD Win doesn't even get warm! simply go to options and choose Joystick mode and XInput will work nicely however I use Touchscreen for my moves, play how you like.
  • Bejeweled 2 -- Runs amazing as you can expect, works as if it was made for the touch screen.
  • Atom Zombie Smasher -- Brilliant to play however does not have controller support, you won't really need it though.
  • Intergalatic Bubbles -- Very low priced game on Steam and if you like Bust a Move, you'll love this, runs freaking great, constant 60fps and the device stays very cool!
  • Pool Nation -- Looks better than the Xbox One version of Pool Nation FX, runs damn nice at 60fps+ but remember to switch on XInput before starting the game, for the record, Pool Nation FX ran poorly at around 15fps so I deleted that from my library.
  • Ziggurat -- Another game which ran nicely as soon as it was installed, lowering the settings to minimum got it running at that nice 60fps and it didn't look much different from the Xbox One version still, seriously!
  • DOOM 3 BFG Edition -- ran it with default settings, no tweaking. Looked pretty close to 50fps and 720p
  • Senran Kagura Shinovi VS -- full screen 720p runs great by default it is set to borderless, and it stutters alot, but changing to fullscreen fixes it.
  • Hyperdemsion Neptunia U action unleashed -- full screen 720p runs great by default it is set to borderless, and it stutters alot, but changing to fullscreen fixes it.
  • Also Steins;Gate -- runs great 720p full screen
  • Blazblue Chronophantasma Extend -- 720p arcade, with vsync, light bloom effects and anti aliasing off runs pretty good, framerate sometimes dips to 50 but usually stays at or near 60
  • Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD -- fullscreen 720p works great
  • Snow -- fullscreen 720p with everything on low works great too
  • Midnight Club 2 -- Also runs perfectly on max settings.
  • Torchlight 2 -- low settings 720p framerate 30-40
  • Dark Messiah of Might and Magic -- works great, fps about 30-50, settings on high
  • Risk of Rain -- this games are made for gpd win
  • Jet Set Radio -- runs perfect, but looks like it´s locked at 30 fps
  • Rayman Raving Rabbids -- works perfectly at 720p medium (doesn't get very hot either)
  • Oh Sir! -- works flawlessly as expected (mouse mode)
  • Poker Night 2 (steam) -- works great on low settings 720p
  • Motor Rock -- works great if you disable cutscenes/movies in the config file
  • Geometry Wars 3 -- runs well
  • TrackMania Nations Forever (steam) -- 40fps average in 720p (never drops below 30fps in game), 46fps in 800x600 and 49fps in 640x480. Very playable in 720p mode, just be sure to use lowest graphic settings. Maybe it could be hard to pull gold but still definitively fun. You must be in XInput mode BEFORE launching the game or it will not detect the gamepad. I think it's free on steam so give it a try.
  • Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter (steam) -- On lowest settings I get between 45fps and 60fps. Very pleasant * to play, gameplay is fast and there is no feeling of lag or slowdown.
  • The King of Fighters XIII: Steam Edition (steam) -- Runs full speed 60fps all the time; feels like there is a bit of input lag, or something not quite perfect with the input (strange feeling I have also with most emulators, hard to describe - could be linked to the discussion about the 20hz controller rate polling), but still very nice to play.
  • Ys Origin (steam) -- 720p 60fps. Just gorgeous, exactly the kind of game perfect on the GPD Win.
  • Hotline Miami (steam) -- 720p 60fps. Very fun game; maybe shoulders buttons need to be remapped to R2/L2 for more confortable play.
  • Dust: An Elysian Tail (steam) -- 720p 60fps most of the time, never drops below 50fps. This is a real GEM! I bought this today for a ridiculous 2,79€ and got hooked!! Reminds me of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir (PS4 / PS Vita)
  • Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate HD -- runs beautifully, turned every setting to it's lowest just in case (not too many settings in the menu)
  • UT2k4 -- low settings 720p 30-40fps -- Requires Pinnacle Game Profiler (perfect)
  • Insaniquarium Deluxe -- No bios changes were applied for this video and there were background stuff running like Stem downloading games. It still ran perfectly.
  • LEGO star wars the complete saga
  • Iron Bridage
  • Stock Car Extreme
  • Race 07 -- runs well
  • GTR2 -- runs well
  • Left 4 Dead 2 -- runs pretty well (40fps ish) at lower settings. The original Left 4 Dead has buggy 'black' light effects so avoid.
  • Limbo
  • Hyper Light Drifter
  • Shmups: Ikaruga -- runs great
  • Geometry Wars -- runs great
  • Space Giraffe --runs great
